Sayaji Hotels has broadened its presence in India’s hospitality landscape by launching three new Effotel-branded properties in Mumbai and Goa. This strategic move strengthens the group’s mid-scale segment, offering business and leisure travelers enhanced comfort, style, and convenience.
In Navi Mumbai, the new Effotel by Sayaji features 58 well-appointed rooms, a multi-cuisine restaurant, a bar, and the city’s largest pillarless banquet hall, covering an impressive 52,000 square feet. Designed with corporate guests in mind, the property is ideal for business events, conferences, and upscale stays.
Goa sees the debut of two new Effotel hotels—one in Panaji and the other in Calangute. The Panaji property offers 48 modern rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, and a rooftop pool with sweeping views, perfect for travelers seeking both relaxation and a central location. Meanwhile, the Calangute hotel, expected to be fully operational by mid-April 2025, will include 66 elegant rooms, a poolside bar, spa, banquet facilities, and multiple dining options, capturing the essence of Goan hospitality.
Jameel Sayed, Regional Director of Business Development, shared that this expansion reflects Sayaji’s commitment to providing elevated guest experiences tailored to evolving travel preferences across India.
