Nok Air, a leading premium budget airline in Thailand, is set to launch nonstop daily flights between Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM) and Bangkok’s Don Muang Airport (DMK) starting October 28, 2024. To commemorate the launch, Nok Air held a pre-launch event on October 18 at the Radisson Blu Mumbai. The event was attended by Ranon Viputsiri, Nok Air’s Chief Commercial Officer; Donnawit Poolsawat, Thai Consulate General; and representatives from the Thai Tourism Authority, along with key players in the travel industry including travel agents, tour operators, and online travel agencies.

“This new service marks an important milestone as Nok Air continues to expand its international network,” said Ranon Viputsiri. “The direct connection between India and Bangkok enhances Bangkok’s position as a major gateway to Thailand, providing seamless access to popular destinations like Phuket and Chiang Mai, as well as hidden gems such as Chiang Rai, Nan, and Trang. We aim to offer a comprehensive and enjoyable travel experience for all passengers.”

Nok Air X-tra includes 20 kg of checked luggage, premium seat selection, and inflight entertainment. Nok Max offers 30 kg of luggage, premium seat selection, and complimentary hot meals.

With India being the third-largest source of tourists to Thailand, Nok Air will operate 12 weekly flights from India, including 8 from Mumbai. The airline is committed to providing passengers with convenient flight times and premium amenities.
