Kerala Tourism officials recently conducted a promotional campaign in Telangana, emphasizing Kerala’s appeal as a must-visit destination. Held in Hyderabad, the initiative showcased Kerala’s iconic offerings, including serene backwaters, lush greenery, Ayurvedic wellness experiences, and vibrant festivals.
The campaign targeted travelers seeking relaxation, culture, and nature-based tourism. Officials highlighted Kerala’s unique travel circuits, including houseboat experiences in Alleppey, tea plantations in Munnar, and the cultural richness of Fort Kochi. The state’s focus on sustainable and eco-friendly tourism was also underscored.
Telangana’s well-connected air and rail networks to Kerala position it as a key market for inbound tourism. By creating awareness through presentations and engaging travel agencies, Kerala Tourism aims to draw more visitors from Telangana, strengthening ties between the two states while promoting domestic travel.
With its tagline, “God’s Own Country,” Kerala hopes to attract diverse travelers, from families to wellness seekers, fostering tourism recovery and growth.
