The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), home to the iconic Taj Hotels, has made a significant mark in 2024 with record-breaking growth. With 85 new signings and 40 hotel openings, the company has expanded its portfolio to 360 hotels, while maintaining a robust pipeline of 123 properties under development across four continents.

This impressive expansion is part of IHCL’s “Accelerate 2030” strategy, which focuses on capital-light models, with 75% of the signings in 2024 being in this category. The company has also introduced several new initiatives, such as the reimagined Gateway brand, which targets the upscale market, and a majority acquisition of the Tree of Life brand, which adds a boutique leisure option to its offerings.

IHCL has also made significant strides in the luxury segment, including the acquisition of a management agreement for The Claridges in New Delhi, marking a new chapter in expanding its premium offerings. Taj, the flagship brand of IHCL, continues to lead the charge, with 19 new signings in 2024, underscoring the growing demand for luxury experiences across India and beyond.

This milestone showcases IHCL’s commitment to global growth and its continued dedication to offering world-class hospitality experiences for travelers around the world.
