Goa’s culinary scene just got a global upgrade with the opening of Heliconia, the state’s first restaurant dedicated to Nikkei cuisine — a vibrant fusion of Peruvian and Japanese flavors. Located inside the luxurious JW Marriott Goa, Heliconia promises an adventurous gastronomic journey that blends the delicate art of Japanese cooking with the bold, fiery flavors of Peru.

At the helm is acclaimed Peruvian Chef Arturo Castro Salazar, whose international experience across Asia, Africa, and South America has shaped a diverse and dynamic menu. A passionate ambassador of Nikkei cuisine, Chef Salazar presents an exciting selection of dishes ranging from ceviche and tiradito to expertly crafted sushi and nigiri.

Vegetarians aren’t left behind, with specially curated options like Yasai Wrap and Daikon Noodles. Standout dishes such as Carretillero and Avocado Gunkan reflect the restaurant’s commitment to innovation and authenticity.
