Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is set to increase its flights between Abu Dhabi and Jaipur to ten weekly services starting December 15, 2024. This decision comes just four months after the airline first introduced its service to the Rajasthan city, reflecting the growing popularity of this route.
Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad, expressed enthusiasm about the service’s demand, stating, “We’ve seen sensational demand for this service, and in response, we are giving even more love to India by increasing our weekly flights, providing the frequency and convenient timings our guests desire.” He emphasized that the expansion will grant Indian travelers easier access to both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, along with seamless connections to the airline’s extensive global network, all while ensuring an exceptional flying experience.
Travelers flying from Jaipur to the United States can benefit from the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility available at Abu Dhabi Airport. This facility simplifies the immigration process, ensuring a smoother journey for passengers heading to the U.S.
The increase in flight frequency underscores Etihad’s commitment to the Indian market, where the airline has expanded its capacity by over 30% in the past year. This expansion also coincides with the celebration of the airline’s 20th anniversary of service to the Indian subcontinent.
Flights on this route will be operated using the Airbus A320 family, featuring Etihad’s award-winning service in both Business and Economy cabins. The new schedule will provide convenient flight timings to the UAE’s capital and facilitate smooth connections to various destinations within Etihad’s growing global network.
Additionally, Etihad’s complimentary stopover program enhances connectivity by allowing travelers to enjoy extended layovers in Abu Dhabi, with up to two complimentary nights at premium hotels, further promoting the city as a must-visit destination.
