January 13, 2025

Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) is gearing up for a major upgrade as its Terminal 2 (T2) will temporarily close for four to six months. The closure, scheduled to facilitate extensive refurbishment, is part of a broader plan to enhance passenger experience and improve infrastructure.

The project includes modernizing facilities, upgrading operational systems, and streamlining passenger flow. Airlines currently operating from T2 will be relocated to other terminals to ensure uninterrupted operations. Once completed, T2 is expected to offer improved amenities and increased capacity, reaffirming IGI’s commitment to world-class service.
