Air India Express has announced an expansion of its network, marking a significant milestone as it connects 51 cities globally. The airline will launch direct flights from Surat and Pune to Bangkok, starting December 20, 2024, making it the 50th international destination in its network. The introduction of Bangkok routes aligns with Air India Express’s strategy to broaden its footprint in Southeast Asia.
In addition to the international routes, the airline is strengthening its domestic network by introducing new services to Dimapur in Nagaland and Patna in Bihar. From December 15, 2024, Dimapur will be connected to Guwahati with direct flights, while Patna will have daily services to Bengaluru and Hyderabad. This expansion is part of Air India Express’s continued efforts to connect non-metro regions with key cities, fostering growth and tourism.
With a fleet of 90 aircraft, the airline operates over 400 flights daily, catering to travelers across India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
