The Leela Unveils a New Luxury Experience: A Palace Within a Palace

October 23, 2024

The Leela has unveiled Arq by The Leela, a new ultra-luxury villa collection aimed at the global elite, at The Leela Palace Udaipur. This exclusive offering, described as a “Palace within a Palace,” is designed to elevate guest experiences with hyper-personalized services and immersive luxury, blending modern indulgence with Indian heritage.

Situated along the tranquil shores of Lake Pichola, each villa at Arq by The Leela is an architectural masterpiece. The spaces combine contemporary design with traditional elements such as brass-inlaid wooden floors, intricate Thikri artwork, and rare lapis stones. This thoughtful design aims to create a sensory experience that transports guests into a serene world of luxury and beauty.

Shweta Jain, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of The Leela, emphasized that Arq by The Leela is not just another destination but a redefinition of luxury itself. “This space is designed as a personal exploration of beauty, creativity, and indulgence for the most discerning travelers,” she said.

The exclusive launch of Arq by The Leela was held on October 14, 2024, hosted by Princess Gauravi Kumari, the new icon of Indian luxury for The Leela. The event featured prominent personalities such as Huma Qureshi, Diana Penty, and Karishma Tanna, who were given a private tour of the villas. Renowned designer Rahul Mishra also attended the event, showcasing his couture pieces, including the acclaimed Aura collection, which aligned with Arq’s commitment to personalization and fine craftsmanship.

Arq by The Leela, first launched in Udaipur, will soon expand across The Leela’s portfolio, redefining modern luxury through intimate yet expansive guest experiences.
