Rajasthan’s Sujan Jawai has once again earned a place on the prestigious list of the “World’s 50 Best Hotels,” this time ranked 43rd. Recognized for its exceptional hospitality and commitment to conservation, Sujan Jawai received its accolade at a ceremony in Guildhall, London. The hotel, located in Pali, Rajasthan, is renowned for its proximity to the Jawai Leopard Sanctuary and is the only Indian property to feature on the list.

Jaisal Singh, who co-founded Sujan Jawai with his wife Anjali in 2013, expressed his delight in an interview with NDTV. He emphasized that the hotel’s recognition is a testament to their years of hard work, which has been dedicated to combining luxury with a strong focus on conservation and community support. Singh, a passionate wildlife photographer and enthusiast, explained that Sujan Jawai was created not just as a high-end safari camp but as a model for conservation tourism, benefiting local wildlife and surrounding communities.

Set amidst a private forest and named after the nearby Jawai River, the hotel offers an opulent yet immersive wilderness experience. Guests stay in lavish tents and can explore the rich biodiversity of the region, including leopard sightings, under the guidance of skilled naturalists. In addition to wildlife excursions, guests can visit the nearby Jawai Dam, home to migratory birds and crocodiles.

Sujan Jawai stands out for its dedication to sustainable tourism. Proceeds from the hotel are directed towards local community support, including educational initiatives and rewilding programs. The property also provides mobile medical services and has adopted 10 schools, impacting the lives of over 5,000 children, while promoting biodiversity and conservation in the region.
