Air India Express has expanded its footprint in Goa by introducing new domestic and international routes from the Manohar International Airport in North Goa. This strategic move enhances travel options for both domestic passengers and international flyers from the region.
Starting April 15, 2025, the airline launched domestic flights connecting North Goa with Delhi, Bengaluru, Indore, and Chennai. A new route to Hyderabad is set to begin operations from May 3, further strengthening internal connectivity.
In a major international expansion, Air India Express will begin direct flights from North Goa to Kuwait on May 3 and to Abu Dhabi on May 5. These new routes are expected to significantly benefit tourists, business travelers, and the Goan diaspora in the Gulf.
With the latest additions, the airline now operates over 115 weekly flights across both of Goa’s airports—Manohar International Airport in the north and Goa International Airport in the south. This makes Air India Express the only airline to fly from both locations, providing more flexibility and convenience to passengers.
The expansion aligns with the airline’s broader strategy to enhance connectivity across India and international markets, positioning Goa as a key travel hub for global and domestic routes.
